Cookies

There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to put in one. Here is exactly what your browser does store, and how to clear it.

Updated Written to be read

01The short version

We set no tracking cookies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third party cookies, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. That is why you were not interrupted by a modal when you arrived.

The tools do store things in your browser, but on your own device and for your own benefit: mainly the AI model files, so a tool does not have to download them again. None of it is readable by us and none of it identifies you.

02What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics
  • Social media pixels or share-button trackers
  • Session recording or heatmap scripts
  • Cross-site identifiers or fingerprinting of any kind

The privacy policy covers the same ground for anything that is not a cookie.

03What is stored on your device

These are browser storage mechanisms rather than cookies, which matters more than it sounds: cookies are attached to every request your browser sends us, while the items below never leave your machine at all.

  • Cache Storage: model files. The largest item by far, from roughly 13 MB to 115 MB depending on the tool. Cached after the first run so the tool starts instantly and works offline afterwards.
  • Cache Storage: site assets. The usual pages, scripts and fonts, cached the way any website’s assets are.
  • Local storage: your tool preferences. Small values such as the export format or quality you last chose, so a tool opens the way you left it.

Your photos are never among them. Images live in the tab’s memory while you work and are gone when the tab closes.

04Essential cookies, if any

At the time of writing we set no cookies at all. If a strictly necessary cookie becomes unavoidable later, for example to keep you signed in to a paid account or to hold a security token during checkout, it will be listed here with its purpose and lifetime before it ships. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, but they do require honesty about what they are.

05Clearing it yourself

Everything above can be removed at any time, and nothing breaks permanently when you do. The next time you open a tool it will simply download the model again.

  • Chrome and Edge: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third party cookies or Site settings, then View permissions and data stored across sites, and delete the entry for photomop.com.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data, then Manage Data, and remove photomop.com.
  • Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data, and remove photomop.com.

A private or incognito window also works: everything the tools store is discarded when you close it, at the cost of downloading the model again next time.

06Third parties

No third party is able to set a cookie through this site, because we embed no third party scripts, no ad slots and no external iframes. Fonts are served from our own domain, so even the font request does not tell anyone else that you were here.

07Changes to this page

If we ever add a cookie or a storage mechanism that is not listed above, this page will be updated before it goes live and the change will appear in the changelog. Questions go to [email protected].
