Slazzer is a cloud service. You upload a file, their servers run the model, and the result comes back down. That is why previews are capped at 0.25 megapixels, why a full size download costs a credit, and why the API is priced the same way. Every image at full resolution costs Slazzer real GPU time, and the credit is how that reaches you.
Photomop works the other way round. The model downloads to your device once, caches there, and runs in the tab through WebGPU where the browser supports it and WebAssembly everywhere else. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed, and written back out as a download. It never reaches a server of ours, which is stronger than a policy promising nobody will look.
Slazzer's free tier is a preview, and it says so plainly: 0.25 megapixels, illustrated as 625 by 400 pixels, with no stated limit on how many you can run. Two credits come with it for full size downloads. Usefully, API access, the desktop apps and the Photoshop extension are all open at this tier rather than reserved for payers.
Photomop has no credit count, no resolution ceiling that we impose and no watermark. The ceiling is your own hardware. On a laptop, a full-size phone photo is routine. On an older phone we run inference at a reduced size and composite the result back onto your untouched full resolution original, so the file you download is still the size you started with.
Better than most of this market, and worth saying so. Unused monthly credits roll over up to six times the allocation, so a quiet month is not simply written off. One-time top-up packs run from 10 credits at $6.30 to 12,000 at $1,360.80 and stay valid two years, which is longer than the one year Erase.bg allows on its packs.
The weak spot is the entry price. The cheapest plan is $11.55 a month for 100 credits, above remove.bg's Personal at $9.00 and Pixelcut's Pro at $10.00, and no annual or discounted billing is shown anywhere. If your volume is genuinely small, a top-up pack rather than a plan is the sensible way to buy here.
Reach and range. Slazzer ships apps for Windows, macOS and Linux, for iOS and Android, and an extension for Photoshop, so the cut-out arrives wherever you already happen to be working. Alongside removal it does background generation, upscaling, enhancement, de-oldify, AI shadow, sky replacement and relighting, none of which Photomop attempts today or has an equivalent for.
There is a blunter gap as well. Slazzer ships desktop apps, plugins and a hosted API, and we ship none of those. On tools, upscaling, object removal and the passport photo tool do not have a working page yet. If you need one of those this afternoon, that is a real argument and this page will not try to talk you out of it.
A hundred images a month on Slazzer is $138.60 a year, since no annual discount is offered. A thousand a month is $1,184.40. At low volume the top-up packs change the maths completely: 10 credits for $6.30, valid two years, with no plan attached. Work out your genuine volume before choosing between the two ways of buying.
Photomop is free to use and the paid plan is published at $8 a month, or $5 a month billed yearly, and is not open for purchase yet. Nothing in the toolbox is held back for it. What it adds is unattended batch over a folder, HD background packs and an API, which are the parts that genuinely cost money to run.

The case against us is short and worth saying out loud: upscale image, remove object and passport photo do not have a working page yet, so those jobs need another tool today, and there is no hosted API today, so a workflow that needs one has to look elsewhere. If either of those is the thing you need this week, Slazzer is the better answer today and this page is not going to argue otherwise.
